Trulos provides freight tools including a free load board, dispatch docs, IFTA mileage helpers, and live truck parking maps. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information on our website and related web tools.

2) Information we collect

• Usage & device data: pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location (via IP), browser & device info.
• Cookies & similar tech: to keep preferences (e.g., filters on the load board) and improve performance.
• Contact & submission data: if you post a load or contact support, we may collect names, company, phone, email, and load details you submit.
• Log data & diagnostics: error logs to maintain reliability and prevent abuse.

3) How we use information

• Operate and improve the site, load board, and tools
• Detect/prevent abuse and fraud (e.g., spam postings)
• Provide support, respond to requests, and fulfill posting workflows
• Measure traffic and product performance
• Show ads on some pages (e.g., free tools) and measure ad effectiveness

4) Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember settings and to help us understand how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Key services include:

• Google Analytics (gtag): traffic and performance measurement (IP address is processed).

Some features (e.g., live maps on Truck Parking) load third-party assets that may process IP addresses to serve content efficiently.

6) Google User Data (Dispatch)

When you choose to connect your Google account to Dispatch, we request permission to send email on your behalf using your Gmail account.

Dispatch requests only the permissions necessary to send operational emails such as:

• Customer invoices
• Dispatch invoices
• Bills of Lading
• Rate Confirmations
• Shipper Confirmations
• Shipment documents
• Other transportation-related operational emails initiated by you

Dispatch does not read your inbox, access your email history, download your messages, or access your contacts.

Google user data is used solely to provide the Connected Email feature requested by the user.

OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are stored in encrypted form and are used only to authenticate outbound email requests.

Data Sharing

Dispatch does not sell Google user data.

Dispatch does not share Google user data with advertisers or marketing platforms.

Dispatch only discloses Google user data:

• when required by law,
• to trusted infrastructure providers necessary to operate the service (such as secure cloud hosting),
• or when explicitly directed by the user.

Google user data is never used for advertising or marketing profiling.

Dispatch System does not use Google Workspace API data to train generalized AI or machine learning models.

Users may disconnect their Google account at any time from their Profile page.

7) User content (load postings)

When you post a load, you choose what contact details appear. For trust and safety, we may retain submission records and moderate or remove content that violates our Terms.

8) Your choices & rights

• Opt-out of analytics/ads: use browser settings, ad blockers, or Google’s opt-out tools.
• Access, update, or delete: email [email protected] with your request and enough detail to locate your data (e.g., posting URL).

9) Security & retention

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. Retention varies by purpose and legal requirements; for example, abuse prevention logs may be kept longer.

10) Children’s privacy

Our services are for professionals and are not directed to children under 13.

11) Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective date.”
